Lagniappe is a Creole-Cajun thing. That’s why Louisiana recipes can be a problem. Even when there is a recipe we always add, “…a little something extra.” That’s lagniappe. And that is what you will find in this section of the website; just a little something extra.

Upcoming is a video of a speech I gave at the World Wide Equal Opportunity Conference, Birmingham, Al., July, 1998. That speech “A Disturbance in the Force” is a good example of my style of presentation. I include it as lagniappe for that reason, and because it led to my being invited to be the keynote speaker at the 14th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast at the U. S. Pentagon.
